Dreaming the Shamanic Journey with SoulCollage®: A Weekend Retreat

with Gail Byrnes and Anne Boedecker

Genesis Spiritual Life and Conference Center, Westfield, MA

September 14-16, 2018

“The shaman is a self-realized person. She discovers the ways of Spirit through her inner awakening.”
Shaman, Healer, Sage: How to Heal Yourself and Others with the Energy Medicine of the Americas by Alberto Villoldo

Come and awaken with us through the waking dream state discovered on guided shamanic journeys. Take what you learn from your teachers and guides and give it voice through SoulCollage® card making and journaling.
Come join us for an intensive weekend retreat guided by Gail Byrnes and Anne Boedecker. Learn about your power animals, teachers, and guides, or deepen your connection with those you have already discovered.
At its simplest form, shamanism is a belief that we live in a natural world inhabited by other conscious beings – animals, plants, clouds, water, mountains.  They are always trying to communicate with us, but many of us have been trained by our modern culture to ignore the voices of these other beings.  In times past, people were tuned into the natural world, and lived in harmony and balance with other sentient beings.  Shamanic journeying helps us to reconnect to all that has been lost to us.
We will begin each session by creating Sacred Space, and then you will be guided through the shamanic realms.  You can then journal and/or make SoulCollage® cards representing what you have learned or other experiences inspired by our journeys.  You’ll be able to share your cards and journaling in small groups in as much depth as you wish.

At this weekend retreat you will enjoy:

  • 3 days and 2 nights at the lovely Genesis Spiritual Life and Conference Center in Westfield, MA, with comfortable accommodations and 3 delicious meals a day
  • tables full of new and unique images and unlimited card-making supplies
  • quiet personal time as well as communion with other soulful women
  • opening and closing rituals to mark sacred time and space
  • shamanic journeying with drums
  • sound healing
  • a step-by-step guided process of journal-writing and card-making if desired

This retreat will begin with registration at 5 pm Friday, September 14, 2018 and end Sunday September 16 at 3 pm.
Cost for this inclusive retreat is only $450 per person. For a payment plan a deposit of $150 is required; with 3 monthly installments of $100.  The full amount is due August 13, 2018. PayPal and personal checks accepted.
